It is known as Pirú or Pirul in several regions of Mexico, its scientific name is Schinus Molle L. This tree reaches 10 meters in height, has a light brown stem or bark which is divided into strips, the branches are hanging type , with long leaves without hairs or glands, the fruit is pink. The leaves and fruit of this wonderful tree are used to treat various diseases, due to its high content of tannins, alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, terpenes, resin and essential oils. Lollipop tea preparation
We heat 1 liter of water, take a fist of Pirul and add it to the water, let it boil for 3 or 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for a few more minutes. Strain and drink as day water (cold or hot). It is recommended to drink 1 cup of tea for prevention and 2 cups for a medical condition.
